I got off easy today with my "work out"!! Tonight I interviewed to coach Haven's softball team. AND I got the team!!! I'm so excited and I can't wait to meet the girls. I named out team the Diamondbacks for three reasons: 1) the Hogs 2) because one of my favorite sayings when I played softball was "Diamonds are a girls best friend, softball diamonds! and 3) because Mike agreed!! Our colors are Lemon (bright yellow) and black!

Tuesday Dinner with Uncle!
Tonight we were in Fayetteville as was my brother so we decided to meet him for dinner. He wanted to take us to a Gyro place he had been to. I have to admit, gyro's are pretty good. I sure not that healthy but I did have hummus and pita bread. After dinner Brian ordered something (I can't even begin to try and remember what it was called. I called it a blah blah blah!) for dessert. It was different and good but I was so stuffed from my gyro I couldn't eat another bite!
This was the dessert, very yummy!!

Dinner
Tonight I am having a salad with organic lettuce, fresh strawberries, almonds and chick peas. Tipped with a honey balsamic dressing. On the side, fresh watermelon!
Time for a Life Style Change
As spring is approaching I can think of only one thing. No, it isn't the amazing weather or the outside play dates with other moms, it's the fact that I will have to get into a bathing suit soon. And "this" is not bathing suit ready. One, because I am a mother of two that never fought to get my body back and two, because I am PREGNANT! Yes, I will be a beached whale at the pool this summer regardless of my workouts, but I can still make a difference in my life style and eating habits to help prevent the size of whale I become.
I can't believe that when I was in my early 20's I was 5ft6 and a size 6 I thought I was fat. I would give anything to have that body back. What silly young girls we can be!! Now I am 31 and couldn't be happier in life, but do wish to be healthier and more fit. I want to have more energy and self confidence to accomplish whatever comes my way. I would love to be able to rock climb with my daughter, run endlessly with my son, play co-ed with my husband, enjoy running like I did in high school and take on the adventures our newest child has for me and I can and will.
When thinking about it, changing eating habits and exercise seems like a huge ordeal. But really it isn't if you take small steps. Luckily being pregnant I have no choice but to take small steps, which is why I am choosing to start now rather than after pregnancy. I will be using this blog to keep daily journals of my progress, eating habits and exercise routines. I don't expect many (if any) followers, but I feel this will help me stay focused on my goal. So please wish me luck and stay tuned if your interested to see how I turn out!
This is the Fat and Sassy Constance now!!

**Warning**
I am a real, outspoken and open person. Please do not be offended by anything I may say or expressing while making my life style change. I know the withdrawal of caffeine, sugar and other yummy foods can make some people crazy! As I know it will me!
